The data controller for the Competition is Huawei Technologies Düsseldorf GmbH of Hansaallee 205, Düsseldorf 40549 ((regional headquarters) (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "Huawei").

This Privacy Notice describes:

What personal data we collect
For you to be able to participate in the Competition it is necessary for Huawei to collect the following personal data: user name, email address, residence country and age. We collect this personal data from you directly with your consent.
If you are a winner, we may need to collate additional personal data to organise the logistics and health and safety of the event, including full name, address, telephone number, date of birth, nationality, passport details (if we or our agency organise your visa) and, only with your explicit consent, dietary requirements and medical conditions.

How we use your personal data
We use only the minimum amount of personal data that is necessary to operate the Competition (e.g., select the competition winner) and arrange logistics for the trip, if you are a winner.

How we use and share your personal data
(1) Sharing with service providers: We use suppliers to help run the Competition. They will only have access to your personal data as required to fulfill their contractual obligations to us in providing services in connection with the Competition. Our service providers are carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and will not process your personal data for any other purposes.
(2) Legal or regulatory disclosures: Huawei may share your data where there is a reasonable requirement to do so, for example, to meet requirements of applicable law and regulation, or in response to requests from regulators, courts or government agencies; or to establish or defend our legal rights.

How long we store your personal data
Your data will be stored in Germany. We will deleted your personal data 12 months after completion of the competition.

How we safeguard your personal data
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to safeguard personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, use, modification, or loss, including by employing cryptographic technologies to ensure the confidentiality of data in transmission and deploying access control mechanisms to ensure that only limited and authorised personnel can access your personal data where there is a business need to do so.
